My plan for the Basket of Words site is to balance reality, the blog, with whimsical, fun short stories.

For the blog, the focus will be on the experience of caring for an aging parent. A topic that can be both challenging and rewarding — very rewarding. It’s just how you choose to look at it. A topic that I have first-hand experience with; I chose to see it with my heart. The growing population of aging parents offers lots to talk about and share.

Then, get ready to dive into a collection of original fictional short stories. Some are super short, while others are a bit longer, but not too long. They’re all fun reads you can finish in no time at all. Every month, more or less, a new trio of micro stories will be posted.
